Nagios monitors hosts and services on the network.
Actual host and service checks are performed by separate plugins which
return the host or service status to Nagios.
This package contains the useful and reliable plugins.

If you have installed nagios package, then by default, nagios-plugins
will use the user and group accounts defined in /etc/rc.d/rc.nagios.

Otherwise, you could specify desired values through command line, like:

  NAGIOSUSER=backup NAGIOSGROUP=backup ./nagios-plugins.SlackBuild

It is recommended that you firstly install nagios package, of which the
Slackbuild is also available at Slackbuilds.org.

Regardless of which user and group you decide to use, you will need to 
make sure they exist on both the build system and the target system.
